We started in 1942, when a small group of like-minded people came together to do something simple but radical – to challenge the UK government to lift the wartime blockade and send food parcels to people in occupied Greece.
The commitment to fairness and radical change that began then continues today in so many different forms: working with communities to follow their lead in improving their local areas or to brace against climate change; supporting women to exercise their rights and influence; calling on world leaders for dramatic changes to how money is shared and economies are built; and showing up where crises hit to work alongside experts there and help those worst-affected. We act in solidarity with communities, partners and activists as they drive change for a more equal future.
