Making a Difference Together with our Payroll Giving Diamond Award Status!
How and when do employees sign-up to Payroll Giving and how do you engage your workforce so successfully?
It is a privilege to have 100% of the TEAM making weekly donations from their wages to personal charities of their choice. This is something we strongly value as a company and encourage our TEAM to sign up to the scheme as soon as they join us. We talk about the scheme during the interview process and then include the pledge form in the new employee pack which is handed out during induction days. At this stage they are already fully aware of the scheme, and most will already have a charity in mind.
What do you see as the value of Payroll Giving?
As a second-generation family business, we feel a sense of responsibility to give back to our local community as and when we can. Payroll Giving provides this platform for us. We encourage our TEAM to donate to local charities so that the donations remain in NI. We would also include some brief information on our Diamond Payroll Giving Quality Mark Award when pitching for new contracts as we feel this says a lot about the nature of our company.
Do you see Payroll Giving as a hassle-free way to give?
We see this as not only hassle free for us but also for our TEAM who generously donate each week but do not have to even think about it. The admin each month takes very little effort and the good it does outweigh any time spent on this.
We are so proud to have such a generous TEAM supporting Charities personal to them ❤️
