The NWMRT provides assistance to anyone in need in mountainous, remote or hostile environments. We work closely with statutory organisations such as the PSNI, NI Fire and Rescue Service and NI Ambulance Service. We also train and undertake operations with other volunteer rescue organisations. We encourage outdoors activities and are committed to improving safety through information and advice.

The North West Air Ambulance Charity is a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) that delivers clinical expertise when and where it’s needed most. With three aircraft covering the region, our highly experienced clinical teams respond to patients who have suffered life-changing injuries, serious medical emergencies or are in hard to reach locations.
The Essex Air Ambulance Fund was set up to raise money to keep the ESSEX AIR AMBULANCE flying. Annually funds exceeding £1 million are required to keep the helicopter operational and available to continue saving lives throughout the country. Payroll Giving is one of many means used to raise funds.
